Our Mission
Our Mission is to support the research needs of the Colorado Judicial Branch primarily the Colorado Supreme Court and Colorado Court of Appeals. We also support the judges and staff located in the judicial districts and county courts throughout the State of Colorado. Secondarily, our library is open to members of the Bar and general public.
As part of its mission, the personnel of the law library are available to assist with research and training. The staff consists of experienced and friendly professionals who can help you:
- research legislative history
- identify Westlaw databases and formulate efficient search queries
- locate journal articles, secondary materials and practice treatises
- locate Court of Appeals unpublished opinions
- suggest alternative resources and search terms
- verify citations and check proper Bluebook form
